The Cotillion is more than just a
Ballroom Dance, Manners And Etiquette Program
for fourth, fifth and sixth grade children. A social dance curriculum
combined
with an emphasis on good manners and social etiquette work together
to provide young people with dance
skills as well as the social skills necessary
to feel poised and confident throughout their lives.
The
Social Dance Curriculum will include instruction in
the swing, foxtrot, cha cha and the waltz,
as well as many popular party dances.
THE SOCIAL ETIQUETTE CURRICULUM
will include a focus on practicing courtesy, respect,good manners
and good behavior at all times.

IN ADDITION TO a December Holiday Party
and a Celebrate The Season Party,
special theme parties to highlight
the season will include a
*Fabulous Fifties Pizza Party*
a *Swing Spectacular*
and a *Thrill Filled
Season Ending Party*
All Students will have an opportunity to
practice their polish and poise
at
an optional multi-course formal dinner party.

With the exception of designated casual nights,
Attire
for the girls will include
a dress or skirt & blouse, white gloves and dress shoes.
Attire for the boys will include jacket,
tie, dress
shirt and dress shoes.
Parents are invited to sign up to chaperone
one evening during the season if their schedule permits.
